Rémi Dodemont

Operation Cétacés, New Caledonia

Rémi is a volunteer technical officer of Operation Cétacés since 1996, a local NGO in New Caledonia (www.operationcetaces.nc) involved in marine mammal research. In addition to fixing all the equipment, he drives the different kinds of boat used for tagging animals from dugongs to humpback whales.

He might do biopsying or photography if needed, but he mostly loves driving the team to the best position for the work. These skills bring him around New Caledonia from Chesterfields Islands to Vanuatu toward Antarctica.
