Received his B.S. degree in Marine Biology from University of California, Santa Cruz and his MScicomm in Science and Natural History Filmmaking from the University of Otago.  Kyle’s studies and subsequent work with NHNZ has provided him with extensive experience in conducting research and natural history film shoots from various watercrafts for extended periods of time.  He is a certified WorkSafe Media Diver, NAUI Rescue Diver, and First Aid/Emergency Oxygen Provider.
