Kina Scollay

Kina has been a professional diver for 23 years and underwater cameraman for 20 of those.  With a career that includes diving in some of the most challenging waters of New Zealand and it’s outlying Islands, including the Chatham Islands, Stewart Island, Snares Is and the Three Kings – Kina is at home in remote diving environments. He has logged more than 2,000 dives as an underwater cameraman and has worked extensively with marine mammals and all the large shark species likely to be encountered in New Zealand. His role often involves risk management on challenging filming expeditions and he has extensive first aid and trauma training, holds a Worksafe CoC in Film and Photographic and is qualified as a Rescue Diver.
