Underwater world: video series

Diving conditions in the Kermadecs have been excellent for most of the expedition so far with visibility under water reaching over 30m. The team have been sharing images of their incredible finds with us but they’ve just sent through something even better to bring us that much closer to experiencing life in the waters around the Kermadec Islands – amazing, clear underwater footage from their dives.

These short clips are worth watching a couple of times as there is an awful lot happening in these waters and if you squint your eyes really tight it’s almost like being there. Almost. I’m stowing away on the ship next time. Or bribing someone for a berth. Or winning Lotto and buying my own ship.
