A twenty-eight page feature in the latest September/October 2011 issue of New Zealand Geographic brings together some of the most spectacular images from the Kermadecs expedition, taken by photographer Rich Robinson, and insights into the incredible marine environment from science writer Alison Ballance. Both Ballance and Robinson travelled to the Kermadec Islands with the Auckland Museum-led expedition team (which included DoC, Te Papa and the Australian Museum) to document what they saw and recorded above and below the water. We were very lucky to have material from Rich and Alison to populate our blog and we’ll definitely be adding this magazine to the coffee table collection.
