Life in the Kermadecs: video series

Thirteen researchers, three weeks at sea and an ever-growing list of species records – the Kermadecs expedition has been an incredible journey of discovery.

The team have prepared six short new videos from their expedition which show some of the marine life in the waters of New Zealand’s largest marine reserve and a look at what happened on the ship each night when the day’s specimens were being sorted.

We hope you enjoy their “homecoming gift” and we look forward to bringing you confirmed specimen records over the coming months – fingers crossed for a few new to science!
